Schedule a Tour

We have had visitors from 26 different foreign countries and all 50 states.  Tours can be of an educational nature (including talks about general equine care or the specifics of keeping an older horse healthy) or a fantastic “show and tell” about the Haven residents and their famous races and/or relatives.

“One of the most special places I have ever been too. Jeanne does a fantastic job with The Ladies.” – Carol from South Carolina

Come see all The Ladies of Our Mims along with our mascot Tea Biscuit! Watch the whole herd interacting in the Haven’s pastures. See the “wall of honor,” the stall fronts and name plaques of the Ladies who have passed on.

Visitors can walk the rows of the Haven cemetery and read the headstones of those who have moved on. Volunteers have planted flowers amid the newly-placed gravestones. Past Ladies and other horses are buried here, including Turkoman, Lotka, Taba, My Turbulent Miss, Iza Valentine, and Chief, the Appaloosa from the movie Prancer.

“The Ladies are all ‘seniors,’ but you would never know it by looking at them! Eyes are bright, coats are shiny, and they are all sweethearts to be around.” – Linda from Kentucky

The Ladies love visitors, but an appointment must be made for the visit. To make an appointment, please fill out and submit our online appointment request form below.

We will contact you to confirm after you submit the request. We look forward to hearing from you!

Please note: The Haven does not charge for tours. However, donations are greatly appreciated!
