A note from Hana Bride
Dear Equine Friends,
Hana Bride here. I have to type fast before they find me. I have good news and bad news. The good news is…SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!
How do I know? That's the bad news. The pasture monsters are out of hibernation! I saw them last night! I had to make at least six trips around the barn at a mad gallop to warn everyone. I kept yelling, "RUN! THEY'RE HERE!" But no one listened. They were all too hungry and every knows that pasture monsters never come into the barn anyway. Not THIS early in the year anyway.
Be sure to tell your humans. They may not know. Humans can't seem to see the monsters. I swear, one can be standing RIGHT NEXT TO JEANNE and she doesn't even know it. We're all looking at her with our eyes bugged out and she says silly stuff like, "What? Do I have something on my face?"
Iza says Jeanne knows there is a monster standing next to her, she's just not scared of monsters. But we saw the look on Jeanne's face when Jamra pretended she was a ghost so WE KNOW Jeanne is a big fraidy cat. (That was very funny, by the way.) Anyway, we have to take the good with the bad. SPRING MEANS MORE MUD!!!!! Which means more grooming time with our humans. So if we have to put up with the pasture monsters, then, so be it!
